The new SP-9500 is our largest capacity SnowEx gritter. With a huge 3200 litre hopper (4 Cubic yards) it’s twice the capacity of the SP-8500, previously the largest SnowEx spreader.
The SP-9500 is intended for small lorry use, and features the top quality Vee-Maxx drive system. This spreader takes SnowEx into the big league!
This gritter is powered directly from the vehicle electrics. It has an auger which runs the length of the polypropylene hopper, the speed of this is controlled in cab by means of the control box. The spreading width of the salt is also controlled in cab by the spinner speed. The gritter is fitted with a heavy duty vibrate motor which can be engaged if the salt/grit bridges over or sticks.
